Agung Setya Imam Effendi, S.H., S.I.K., M.Si, North Sumatra Police Chief, and entourage conducted a working visit to the Serdang Bedagai District Police, to monitor and test the firing range of Tantya Sudhirajati at the Sergai District Police Headquarters on Saturday (12/02) afternoon.
During the visit, the North Sumatra Police Chief, along with Sergai District Police Chief AKBP Oxy Yudha Pratesta SIK and several high-ranking officers, checked the territorial area at various service centers within the Sergai District Police Headquarters.
Police Public Relations Officer, Iptu Edward Sidauruk, stated that the visit of the North Sumatra Police Chief to the Sergai district police was aimed at boosting the morale of personnel in carrying out their duties, especially in the solid Operation Brata to support the smooth progress of the 2024 elections.
“At the same time, the North Sumatra Police Chief focuses on improving services to the public, emphasizing the need for service centers to be more humane, ethical, and friendly so that the community feels better served by the police,” he said.
In order to enhance services, Iptu Edward Sidauruk explained that the North Sumatra Police Chief and the delegation conducted inspections at service centers.
“The goal is to improve services to the public, giving the impression that the police truly serve well,” he emphasized.
Finally, Iptu Edward Sidauruk explained that the overall visit of the North Sumatra Police Chief and monitoring activities not only focused on security aspects but also emphasized the importance of better services to the community.
